Greyhound racing API: odds, results and form
Greyhounds are the largest racing code in the Australian feed by race count. This API prices every race across the served bookmaker panel, settles it with dividends, archives the closing line and full price path of every race, and carries each dog's run history from our own results.
Measured coverage, Australian greyhounds
Measured 6 October 2026 on the public coverage-report.json, recomputed from the production store every half hour. Customer-served figures; the withheld reference books are excluded.
Live greyhound odds
/v1/racing/next-to-go?categories=greyhound returns the next greyhound races with every served bookmaker's win and place price per runner, box number, scratchings and the age of each quote. The same filter works on /v1/racing/best-odds (best price per dog with the book offering it), /v1/racing/changes (a cursor delta feed) and /v1/racing/movers.
The panel is Sportsbet, BetDeluxe, BetGold, BoostBet, TAB, BetRight, PointsBet, TABtouch, Palmerbet, Betr, Unibet, NextBet (formerly PlayUp), Ladbrokes, Neds and bet365, measured on the public coverage report over the trailing 7 days to 6 October 2026. Greyhound cards fill close to the jump: the first price on a race lands hours out from one or two early books, and the full board fills inside about an hour.
Betfair Exchange prices are ingested for internal reference only and are not included in customer responses.
Results with dividends
/v1/racing/results?categories=greyhound returns finishing order, the source bookmaker's settled win and place prices, dividends, scratchings and deductions. A result is interim until the placings have held for 30 minutes and final after; abandoned meetings come back as abandoned with empty placings rather than disappearing.
Settled prices can be null while a result is interim: the book publishes the order before its dividends. Poll until final before settling.
Form and stats from our own results
/v1/racing/greyhounds/form?dog=NAME returns every run we hold for one dog, newest first: date, track, distance, box, finishing position, the dog's time and the winner's, margin, official starting price, trainer and field size, each run joined back to its results row. /v1/racing/greyhounds/stats?dog=NAME&by=track,distance splits the same record by track, distance, box or any combination: starts, wins, places, percentages, average and best time, average starting price.
Both read our own store of settled greyhound results — Victorian tracks collected from FastTrack, every other state from the national results pages — from the 13 September 2026 card, rebuilt hourly. Nothing earlier exists there: a dog's record on these endpoints is its record since that date, not its career, and every response says so in source.coverage_from. A name that matches nothing is a free 404.
Runs collected from 21 September 2026 also carry first and second sectional times, race-day weight and, on Victorian tracks, in-running positions and a grade, exactly as the results page printed them and null where it printed none; a run stored earlier stays as it was. A 90-day history from the same pages is filling in behind the live store, and a dog that races in Victoria and interstate under two registry ids is one record: both ids are listed, and either one returns the union.
History
Every price move inside the final 60 minutes before the jump is readable per race through /v1/racing/price-history, and the closing line and price path of every greyhound race are archived permanently from 4 August 2026 on /v1/racing/closing-lines and /v1/racing/price-paths (category=greyhound). See the historical racing odds API.

FAQ
Where does the greyhound form data come from?
From our own settled results, nowhere else: Victorian tracks collected from FastTrack and every other state from the national results pages, from the 13 September 2026 card, rebuilt hourly. A dog's record is its record since that date, and each response carries source.coverage_from so you never mistake it for a career.
Do you cover New Zealand greyhounds?
No. The feed carries NZ thoroughbred and harness racing only; no New Zealand greyhound race has appeared in the store, and the coverage report measures that rather than asserting it.
Does the API include sectional times?
Where the results page prints them, yes. From 21 September 2026 each greyhound runner carries first and second sectional times, race-day weight and, on Victorian tracks, in-running positions, null where the page printed none (Western Australian meetings print no weight). Fields stored before that date stay as they were. The same keys appear on each run on /v1/racing/greyhounds/form, and /stats averages the first split.
Which endpoint is cheapest for a live greyhound board?
/v1/racing/changes. Poll it with the server_time from the previous response and you receive only the prices that moved, at 2 credits per call, instead of re-downloading the card.
